For the record, there will be good summer camps and bad summer camps this year.

When choosing a camp for your precious child to attend this year, look for the following: (1) a camp that has been in business for more than three years; (2) a camp that will have quality teachers and staff; (3) clean facilities; (4) where each staff member has undergone a criminal background check; (5) a camp that will provide you as a parent with pre and post test assessments of your child's progress and performance; (6) a camp that is not just a recreational camp; a camp that provides free breakfast , lunch and snacks and(7) a camp that offers field-trips that educational and not mundane; and finally, (9) a camp that will empower your child to be a better student when he/she returns to his regular school in the fall.

The MY SKILLS TUTORS program is correlated to Georgia's Quality Curriculm. This means that we can tutor your child with the academic materials similar to that which he is assigned and taught in his school.

YEP has a lab that was donated by COMPAQ, the computer giant because YEP had a excellent record in assisting youths in improving their performance on the SAT. For the record, YEP can be of value to your child. Give us a chance to work with you in improving your child's academic achievement.

Over the past several years YEP has successfully worked with juvenile offenders and youths in the foster care system. Our message is always the same: change starts with the desire to improve ones individual circumstances.
